Art Market Budapest 2013

At the ART MARKET BUDAPEST 2013 we are presenting works by select artists from the Gaudens Pedit collection with special emphasis on reductionist and materially aesthetic approaches: plaster reliefs by György Jováovics (born 1939 in Budapest), one of the leading figures in the Hungarian avant-garde; wax works by László Mulasics (born 1954 in Szepetnek), whose works can be classed between a post-geometric style and a figuratively neo-mannerist one. His pastose artistic treatment of the pictorial surface has its counterpart in Zoltán Tölg-Molnárs works (born 1944 in Budapest). By using sand in his pictures he creates a structurally rich surface.
